What is Dive into Spanish? Dive into Spanish! is the summer program of Educando a América for a fun learning in Spanish. It offers different programs according to the needs and possibilities of the students and families. Generalities
Open House: Thursday, March 11th and Thursday April 8th 2010 at 6.00pm. Imagine Charter School Summer Camp Dates: Week 1: June 14-18 2010 Week 2: June 21-25 2010 Week 3: June 28- July 2 2010 Week 4: July 5- July 9 2010 Week 5: July 12- July 16 2010 Week 6 July 19- July 23 2010 Full Day summer camp The full day Spanish summer camp at Educando a América features a variety of fun activities along with learning of the Spanish language through special classes and games. The program´s goal is the acquisition of Spanish written and oral skills, as well as listening and reading comprehension in Spanish. Frequency: 5, 3 or 2 days a week Note:To garantee the eficiency of our programs we only accept a minimum of two weeks registration in any of our summer programs we offer. Half Day Summer Camp Morning or afternoon The half day Spanish Summer Camp- Morning offers two hours of Spanish Class along with activities and morning routines that combines games and fun in the outside playground. Morning classes are focused on reading and writing skills, as well as grammar and spelling in Soanish. During the afternoon, the half day camp includes lunch time and a special recreational activity. Classes are focused on oral skills, both listening and speaking in Spanish, following our annual conversational program named JugArte. Frequency: 5, 3 or 2 days a week Time: Morning: from 9.00am to 12.00pm / Afternoon: from 12.00pm to 3.00pm Spanish classes in Small groups This program offers Spanish classes in small groups for native and non native students of different levels from beginners to advance. The first objective is the learning of the Spanish language, focus on oral, reading and writing skills. Students are separated by levels of learning. Frequency: 5, 3 or 2 days a week.
Weekly Schedule In addition to the Special Classes, every session will offer a different theme to work on. Every theme will be related to all the activities at Educando a América’s summer program.
